Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Yesterday, investors fought to buy the stock of Energopol. Today, JW Construction was to say at a press conference that it is acquiring the listed company. JW Construction, the biggest homebuilder in Warsaw, had said before that it was going to acquire a listed company in order to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It decided to buy Energopol. Yesterday, the stock was rising even 30 percent and cost PLN 43.55 (EUR 11.1). The Warsaw developer may be listed as early as this year. In 2005, JW Construction had PLN 377m of sales and PLN 27m of net income. (PLN 1 = EUR 0.256)

SANTA FE — Voters in Public Regulation Commission District 5, which covers all or part of 11 counties in the southwestern part of the state, will select a new commissioner this year. Incumbent E. Shirley Baca of Las Cruces was defeated by Sandy R. Jones in the Democratic primary. Jones will face C. Earl Greer, who finished first among three candidates in the Republican primary. Both men list improving constituent services, and helping people better understand the workings of the PRC as among their top priorities. Jones said it's important to bring services to the people. "We've got to figure out a way to get staff and commissioners in the districts on a regular basis," he said. "It's very difficult for a person in Santa Teresa to drive to Santa Fe to get help, and it just doesn't happen on the phone." Greer said he grew up in Winston, N.M., where a good rain would knock out phone service, and sometimes power.
FIVE members of the Komiteng Reheyon Negros Larangan Guerella 3 (KRN-LG3), including three minors, who were responsible in bombing the Hanjin Construction Company in Silay City were nabbed Thursday at Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed in a follow up operation of the Calatrava personnel were Nathanniel Alisgar, 18 Noel Tapio, 18 of Crispin Sagay, two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy.
